Memorial day weekend 2012 was spent on the Central Coast. I had such a great time! My trip revolved around seeing my great friend Jessica and her beautiful family. This was my last chance to visit them all before they move to Colorado. I cherished every minute that I got to spend with them. Here's a few pictures of how I spent some of my weekend. :) My good friend Amanda accompanied me on the 4 hour drive both ways, bless her heart!

Working for a living

Welcome blogger friends, to my workspace. This here desk is my home away from home 40 hours a week.

Let's see..my dual screens and computer, files and phone. There's also my faux flowers which bring some color in. Towards the right I have my insurance license proudly displayed. On the wall above my desk I have our office phone list and birthday list for quick reference.

Ah and then you'll see a black and white notebook. This is my phone log, meeting notes, verbal requests from producers and clients, etc You get the idea. I'm now on notebook #3 since I began in my new position just about a year ago. So ya, I'm a busy girl.

What you can't see is what is usually behind me, my awesome co-worker and friend Donna. Without her i think my hair would all be pulled out! And, also behind me is our other Benefits department team who are great to work with.

And....here I go

Liiightbulb! (Thanks to Despicable Me for that one) I have this cool app on my phone but nothing to do with it...until now.

Every day I look at the world around me. I try not to use tunnel vision but instead I try to take in the big picture. What a better way to do it than use the panorama app, right?

Ok so it's probably not an original idea but well...it's new to me and it makes me happy, so there.

So here's my first post and my first photo. This photo is aptly named, "the street where I live".
